Michael A. Robinson

Michael began his career as a prosecutor at the City of Newport News' Commonwealth Attorney's office, where he was assigned to the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Team. After Newport News Michael relocated with his family to Northern Virginia and continued prosecuting in Fauquier County. While prosecuting in Fauquier, Michael opened his own traffic and criminal defense law firm, Robinson Law, PLLC. Throughout his career, Michael has prosecuted and defended thousands of cases in both state and federal courts. He is recognized by both Northern Virginia Magazine and AVVO as a top Virginia DWI and traffic attorney.

Michael was recognized in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 as a "Top 100 Trial Attorney" by The National Trial Lawyers Association. He was also recognized by The National Trial Lawyers Association as a "Top 40 Under 40 Trial Attorney" for the same period of time. In 2015, Michael was inducted into Corporate America's Legal Elite (Top DUI Cases - Virginia). Additionally, Michael was recognized by Super Lawyers (an honor voted on by colleagues) in both Virginia and Washington D.C. as a 2016 Rising Star.
